European Circuits exhibited at the Made in Scotland Awards 2016!

There are many great examples of innovation in all sectors across Scotland and they should be celebrated.

Indeed we have a long history of innovation and invention. The telephone was invented by Scots born Alexander Graham Bell, penicillin was discovered by Sir Alexander Fleming and James Watt made the steam engine into a machine which accelerated the industrial revolution.

More recently Touch Bionics invented an extraordinary artificial arm and the world’s first cloned animal was created by a team of experts at the Roslin Institute near Edinburgh.

That is why Business Insider and RBS created a new Made in Scotland awards scheme to recognise innovation by companies in Scotland and encourage others to innovate.

The awards also recognise companies which have successfully capitalised on their Scottish roots in promoting their products outwith the country.

European Circuits was honoured to be asked to exhibit some of the wide ranging and cutting edge technology the company is currently producing here in Glasgow.

Jim and Neil both represented the company on the night and they would like to thank Business Insider and RBS for the invitation and all of the creative, enthusiastic and energetic people they met on the night.

(The pair were also delighted to be given a handful of Caramel Wafer and Log packets from the Tunnocks exhibition stand.)
