Our five fully automated Pick & Place systems ensure we have plenty of capacity to cater for all your SMT requirements. These machines are capable of placing most modern fine pitch surface mount packages and discretes to 0201 size.

 

For your prototype and low volume needs, we have a number of semi-manual vacuum pen placement systems which allow for fast turnaround and competitive assembly solutions.

Regardless of whether your surface mount boards are placed automatically or manually, the same carefully controlled procedures apply. The use of SMT stencils ensure precise paste applications to the bare PCB’s. A quality finish compliant with IPC610 standards is then achieved using a carefully selected temperature profile on our IR reflow ovens.

All PCB Assemblies are put through either 2D or 3D AOI (Automated Optical Inspection). This is a vision system that captures and stores an image and compares it to an expected image and/or expected data, in order to detect errors on printed circuit boards assemblies.
