European Circuits turn 20 years old in 2019, so what better time to reflect and tell you the story behind the business.
Who We Are
Headed by Managing Director, Mark Briscoe, the company has grown from humble beginnings to become one of Europe’s leading PCB fabrication and assembly houses.
Our goal is simple – to provide customers with assistance and advice about their PCB requirements, produce these requirements to a high quality, on time, and with excellent customer service whether that is prototype PCB’s or production volumes.
European Circuits is a privately owned company established in 1999. The company headquarters are based in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire and we supply throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world (enquiries from 22 countries and counting) offering full integration services including PCB design, manufacture, PTH and SMT assembly, cable assemblies, test and full product build.
The History
The company has grown from the 2500sq feet industrial unit we originally occupied to the 17,500sq feet factory we inhabit today. Our dedicated team’s hard work and commitment to meeting and surpassing our customers individual needs throughout the years has been the root of our strong growth.

The company now boasts a £4 Million turnover and enquiries have come from as far away as Australia and Uruguay.
How European Circuits Has Evolved
The company is in many ways a real gem of a secret success story for the area of Clydebank and we believe we should be shouting louder about the positive impact the company is making in the West Dunbartonshire area as well as at a national level.
Aware of increased online customer demand, the company has completely revamped its website – making it responsive to mobile and tablet devices plus investing money and resource into social media, SEO and targeted online advertising campaigns. Furthermore, an online quote system launched in January 2019 which gives customers a more accurate and speedy quotation.

The company has also branched out over the past few years, exhibiting in the UK, Germany, Spain, Sweden and France.
Further to this considerable marketing and sales push, the company invested in new equipment for the factory, including a brand new SMT machine which has significantly increased the company’s service capability.
European Circuits staff produce hundreds of new and existing products for customers in the UK, Europe and the world throughout a calendar year.

European Circuits Future Direction
Looking ahead, the business is planning to increase sales and marketing efforts both online and offline. The team plan to continue exhibiting in the UK and in Europe, whilst also working alongside our digital agency to further our presence online by producing valuable and informative content for customers and prospects.

Factory equipment is always an area we look to improve on, with an X-ray machine being one of the larger purchases we are certainly considering in the not too distant future. The facility itself is also on the company’s radar with architectural plans already sought for future expansion of the grounds and it’s mezzanine floors.
