DYW West is the regional group for Developing the Young Workforce, West Region covering Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and West Dunbartonshire. Initially called IIYG (Invest in Youth Groups), regional groups have been established all over Scotland following the Wood Commission. Funded for 3 years by the Scottish Government and based at the West College of Scotland in Paisley – DYW are here to develop sustainable links between schools, colleges and employers with a view to helping employers shape their future workforce and help better prepare young people for the world of work.

We’re delighted to be involved in the Developing Young Workforce initiative for the West Region with Philip Briscoe, Sales Manager, as a member of the DYW West Region Board. We’re keen to work and interact with schools in the West Dunbartonshire area and potentially offer work experience and more to school leavers.
